Personal spending habits
At home I do not live in the city so there is no real nightlife and everything is cheaper in general. I also took advantage of being situated in Europe and traveled a lot to other countries including Morocco, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, England, and France.

It is a good idea to take large sums of money out from a cash machine at a time as you are likely to have large International funds request fees.

Housing
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I did enjoy living with a family because it gave me an inside look at the Spanish culture, but since I do already have that experience I would like to go back and have more freedom in my home there.

The program, API, was very accommodating for those who had housing problems. Such as there was one person who had issues with his host family and the program immediately found him a better placement.

I wish I had known...
No,I hadn't. I had been to Spain before, but only visiting, not living there. So with most of the daily situations or some kind of problems I had to face at the moment of starting my scholarship.

Personal comments
The main reason I chose to study in Spain was to become advanced/fluent in the Spanish language. I constantly involved myself in the local community - I joined the Sevilla choir, joined the volunteer program at the university that had previously only been for Spanish students, and primarily spent my free time with Spanish natives.

My favorite spot was right around the block that i lived on, called Aldemeda de Herculis. You can't place the center of town without going into the Cadedral de Seville, its just breathe taking! To shop, Calle Tetuan has by far the best shops. Triana is the place to be during the month on April fo Feria, don't miss out!!

La gestión no es muy buena, pero sin embargo el profesorado, el campus y la localización son inmejorables. Ambiente tranquilo con millones de cosas que hacer por el campus.
