Dubliners was a great place to have a drink and they made a special effort to create events that allowed the Erasmus kids, the US students, and the locals. Getxo was a great city to escape to by metro. It had the best cafe's and fantastic window shopping.

In Spain it is most common to live in an appartment. I was very satisfied with the whole accommodation. In that way you're also able to live in the centre of town.
