Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? It was the most convenient accommodation and was also a good opportunity to meet native Spanish speakers.
Personal comments:
Although not the cheapest accommodation available, the convenience of being fully equipped makes it worthwhile. It has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere which makes it ideal for people living abroad for the first time.

Personal comments:
Barrio Humedo...all erasmus students are always going to Delirium, Arena,Studio 54 for an after party ;) but it depends also on the faculty. There are other favourite places for economic`s students and for vets ;) u can`t miss tapas and small kebeb bar on the Plaza Mayor -the longest open one :D

ACADEMIC
by elodie, IFI Rouen, Rouen, France

My academic experiences
Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
I found that the Spanish system was too academic. As I was studied marketing, I will be pleased to have more case study and profesionals who would intervene during courses rather than to take notes and notes, to learn and to make the exam.

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course
Overall
Personal comments:
They shoud teach more as profesional than teachers. Spanish students doesn"t appear mature and ready to have their future jobs. It would be better to have more profesionals, conferences, and to oblige students to go there. On top of that, the level of language is very low in Spain. Spanish students don't have the same enthusiasm to go abroad as the danish people, english and french people. They should develop the courses of language, because nawadays its essencial to know three or more languages. In my universitt, they should bear in mind that they are educating futuring profesional and not to be so academic.

Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish
How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: At ease in most situations
Personal comments:
I met more erasmus students than spanish because there are not very open minded as we could think beut the ersmus life is great and it slike real community of students from every country so you learn a lot about all of their habits and their wy of life

Following a language course such as I did is an accessible way to live in a new country, meet people, and improve your language skills.

FINAL COMMENTS

I feel that the four months I spent in Spain gave me a golden opportunity to see a diverse country and to learn about cultures from many different countries. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in going beyond the borders of their home country.
