HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? On the campus it is not possible for Ausrian students and so an apartment is the only possibility.
Personal comments:
the university gave us a list with apartments, and you can find more if you search at other universities. If you want to learn portugues you should live together with portugues students. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
Personal savings An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
housing was really expensive, i lived in the center, but I guess all "erasmus-flats" are quiet overpriced because the landlords know that we have to live somewhere and that they can ask for much money. nightlife is really cheap. Overall I might have spent more for nightlive than at home but just because I went out more often. For traveling I spent much more, but just because I don't travel around that much at home, and I wanted to see as much of the beautiful country as possible. Overall I spent more money than at home, but I wanted to enjoy my stay. Travel, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food: was the same price as at home. Nightlife: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
I expected prices in Portugal to be lower in general. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
No- In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
It's small, familiar, a beautiful house and the courses are good. FINAL COMMENTS
Lisbon is great, If you travel around go to the Alentejo, there are beautiful empty beaches and it is not so touristic as the Algarve. An Example is Zambojeira do Mar. If you go out in Bairro Alto you will find lots of Erasmus students in front of Mescal in Rua de Diaro Noticias. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
