it is quite easy to find an apartment in Lisbon, difficult for studentes from "richer" countries to get into a students residence

you are exchange student and you have all the exams at the end of the semester, the last week where all the people and your new friends are together, make smaller exams also during semester, that not everything of your grade is the final exam

the teachers english was quite good, we had some problems with portuguese students, some of them hardly speak a word english, which was quite difficult in group works

you travel more, you want to get to know to the country, you go out more, because you want to get to know to people and get friends, phoning from mobile phone is much more expensive than in austria, besides that you also want to call your family, friends,... from home

Food, Housing: was the same price as at home.

do not take the courses to easy as they seem to be in the beginning. The exams at the end are quite difficult!
