STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Nightlife in Lisbon is just amazing. All kinds of night spots, indoor and outdoor, many areas full of places and I guess by far the lowest prices in Western Europe. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ACADEMIC
My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Remember ground school? When the teacher was writing everything on the blackboard an you had to copy? If you want to have a revival take 'Seminar in European Economics'! The other courses were more or less okay.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
There is too much to improve. Leave it the way it is. It has charm. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Portuguese is awfully hard to learn, especially if you are not from a latin country. Some of us haven't learned more than a few words. But actually it doesn't matter. Everybody speaks English very well. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Main source of funding:
Personal savings Other sources of funding:
Family Government assistance An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't want/need to work Personal spending habits:
I spent for travel because I was trevelling more and I spent more for housing because I had one. Nighlife and calls from pre-paid phones (the phones themselves are old and expensive) are extremly cheap. Travel, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food: was the same price as at home. Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
It's really cheap as long as you don't get robbed! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I should have tried to get an appartment before arriving. Internet access in the house would have also been a good idea as the facilities at uni were a joke. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
If you want to learn a lot go somewhere else. If you want to have fun go to Lisbon. FINAL COMMENTS
Leave your wallet and credit card at home when you go out at night and just take 10-20€. Many people got robbed (with knives) and some had to take money from the ATM. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
