Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (UTL)
Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, Alameda de Santo António dos Capuchos 1, 1169-047 Lisboa, Portugal, Lisbon
Description:
The Technical University of Lisbon (UTL) was created in 1930, as a confederation of older Faculties, and comprises, nowadays, those of Veterinary Medicine; Agricultural Sciences; Economics and Business Administration; Engineering, Social and Political Sciences; Architecture; and Human Kinetics. Despite being one of the largest Portuguese State Universities, the UTL has always adopted a decentralised organisational model. All Faculties have an ample degree of autonomy in pedagogic, scientific, administrative and financial matters.

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Don't be shy!!! You can choose what ever you want! Don't let the woman in charge tell you it wouldn't be possible! In the moment you don't get along with a prof choose somethingelse. Otherwise you just waste your time! There is so much to learn and to take home! Even try a little of everything. Not all courses have to be completed to give you new impulses

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
There are so man little things of daily life that can be so time consumeing when having to find out on your own. The list would be too long, but with a little help from students who have been there before ... everything is manageable In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Don't take the woman who is in charge of the exchange program too serious, because she does that perfectly on her own;-) There is lots to experience and to expend the mind. But takes a lot of research and self-motivation FINAL COMMENTS
Anybody who would like to go is more than welcome to contact me. I will always take time to answer questions. From June till September there is a special bus tickest to the beaches on the other side of the Tejo-river. Can be bought at M:Campo Pequeno at the sales-cabines at the bus-stop This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
