Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Personal comments:

I had some problem at the beginning, since I had never studied portuguese: after in the first month I always spoke english. Only after the second month I went out with portuguese people, and I've begun to speak portuguese with them, and english with the other erasmus people. At home I didnt had time to travel and go out that much.. ALso living alone is always more expensive.. (I live alone in Portugal) Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

All people and teachers are very nice and helpful. FINAL COMMENTS
Advice: take some warm clothes because in winter it's quite cold and most Portuguese houses doesn't have central heating.
