Why? To get the family atmosphere ,to avoid homesickness and also to understand the native people of the country to make a better relation.

It was a wonderful experience staying with a family that too very co-operative.People were very nice ,very helpful ,it was a lifetime experience ,I still remember those days I spent with them.And also Coimbra is a city of students ,so I felt the difference at this university.

EVERYWHERE IN COIMBRA is party all night long. Bar do Beco is just great! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THAT!! All that music and the LATADA and all da festivals...it wuz just amazing

Portuguese is a difficult language. To a lot of people it sounds like russian. But learning another language is worth a lot.

portugal is cheaper then italy but i was travelling a lot when i was there because i wanted to take all the possible advantages from the erasmus experience.
Travel: was more expensive than at home.

Try to choose the subjects you like best because the teachers will help you at thier max. Try too to meet all erasmus form diferent places.



FINAL COMMENTS

Have real fun at Coimbra! Learned very well the language, speaked fluently, meet over 5 hundred othe erasmus and a very good opportunity to travel in Portugal/Spain
