Why? To get the family atmosphere ,to avoid homesickness and also to understand the native people of the country to make a better relation.

It was a wonderful experience staying with a family that too very co-operative.People were very nice ,very helpful ,it was a lifetime experience ,I still remember those days I spent with them.And also Coimbra is a city of students ,so I felt the difference at this university. I didn't want/need to work Personal spending habits:
portugal is cheaper then italy but i was travelling a lot when i was there because i wanted to take all the possible advantages from the erasmus experience. Travel: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

Try to choose the subjects you like best because the teachers will help you at thier max. Try too to meet all erasmus form diferent places. FINAL COMMENTS
