Make use of your time to travel as much as possible! Also do not neglect Macao itself. It is wonderful and very cultural!

Final comments
Try to travel a bit, especially to the mainland China, which is very different from Macau or Hong Kong. Hong Kong is definitely also worth a visit. very impressive. Be patient when you come to this country and open for new things!

you must be prepared for project work, which has to be done in every course. working with goups is not always easy there, but goes ok. You have to also e prepared to study a lot for term papers etc...

Personal spending habits
Things are much cheaper there, at least when you adapt to local foodhabits for instance. Cooking Western food and buying the ingredients would have cost me a lot. Travelling was surprisingly cheap taken into account distances and so! Prices for drinks in bars were even more expensive than Europe.

Go out for food, don't cook yourself at least if you like the local cuisine! When booking a trip make sure you check prises at different travel agency's, some are not sincere.

Personal spending habits
Living expenses are all cheaper than in the Netherlands. I spend a lot more on traveling because living in this different area in the world gave me the opportunity to experience different countries and cultures.

Final comments
Excellent academic exchange, it was an incredible experience. Travelling around Asia, getting to know other cultures, is just the perfect exchange program.
