“there's a range of improvement”

Overall
Università Cattolica is surely a good university, it offers a lot of services and opportunities, but it's one of the most expensive in Italy and still it has a lot to be improved. Studying languages, for example, my schedule was often impossible, and by "impossible" I literally mean it. Sometimes I had two courses at the same time and I had to decide which one to attend. Moreover, classes were often packed with people and some of us had to sit on the floor. Some exams are very interesting but others should be modified or implemented in order to be made more up-to-date. The university gives you a lot of opportunities, but for most of them you have to pay huge sums of money. However, in some fields it is one of the best university in Italy.

“Un prestigioso ateneo”

Overall

I wish I had known...
Italian culture is more different from the Portuguese than I thought on the first sight. Italians are more closed that I thought they would be.

it's a good university, but I didn't choose it because there were already links between my home university and the catholic university.

Housing
Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
My accomodation was ok.
Unfortunally Milan is a huge city,so you need a place close to the University.
But Cattolica is in the real center of the city, where the rent are too expensive.

Personal comments
Cattolica has not accomodation for international students, by the way I have to thank the International Office of Cattolica, without their help I couldn't find any places.
