Università di Bologna

University of Bologna, Via Zamboni 33, 40126 Bologna, Italy
3.97 / 5 based on 348 reviews.
Description:
The University of Bologna is about to celebrate its Ninth Centenary. The Studium at Bologna is thus the oldest in the western world.

The whole history of European universities has been profoundly influenced throughout the centuries by the University of Bologna. Evidence of this may be seen in the fact that many of the most important universities in Europe were established as a result of internal strife within the University of Bologna, or under the auspices of scholars from this University.

Type of housing: A room exchange

If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why? At Bologne everything is really near, the room I got on my exchange had the best location (five minute walk from the university) and living with other local students was the best experience for getting to know the culture and language
Personal comments:
I never really tried it however I know they provide a really good service
