Personal recommendation
It's difficult to recommend or not recommend this university, it depends on how many courses you need to take, to satisfy your home university. We had to do more than the german students, and that was to much for an exchange students. But I had a lot of fun and met a lot of people, and it's a good travelling centre.

“Feels like a Turkish-Eastern European city”

Germany, Graduate
Economics, 2018
Overall
The school has many things to offer for those who know what to do next in their career, from a wide range of working student positions to free (once-a-week) German courses. The city accommodates a multinational population that mostly consist of people with Turkish, East-European, and Middle-eastern background.

Pros
Many opportunities to work as a student assistant at different chairs of Economics Department
Cons
There is not much guidance from the university once you are in. Maybe it is part of the culture in Europe but I think they could provide career related guidance, for example, on the choice of courses to follow, planning towards post-graduation, and etc.

“Old school mentatlity”

Secretarial Studies, 2019
Overall
I have just graduated from there and am happy to leave it.
Their are almost no elective course (10 ECTS out of 180).
Their is a lot of accounting compared to other universities.
If you are not part of the students after 2 semsters the university will treat you worse. Your treatement is linked to your grades. If you are part of the best you get a good exchange university, an easier thesis to write and even free books in accounting one time.
I think smart people come out of this univerity, not because of the university itself but rather due to the quality of the students coming in.
