Because at home I live with my parents and I don't have to pay housing, nor telephone. Also Brussels is more expensive in food and travelling than Madrid. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.

Personal recommendation:
I loved the idea of a university campus. You had to change from one building to another to assist different coruses so you saw everybody around the campus all the day. FINAL COMMENTS
Being Brussels in the center of Europe you can visit a lot of countries/cities in one day and it isn't very expensive. For travelling, Belgium is a great place to do your Erasmus. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
