HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: No changes!
Why? I would not change my actual location because the place where I live it's really perfect. With 9 other students from differents countries, with a good living together, in a pretty house in a very nice neighborhood and really near of the university. Really! I couldn't have asked for more!!!
Personal comments:
The experience of doing an Erasmus exchange is being really positive. Brussels is a good place for doing it and, in addition, the Free University of Brussels is a quite good host university. It's true that sometimes it seems that the erasmus students can suppose a hindrance for some teachers, but in general, the environment is too cozy and trying a system different from the own one, is always a very productive experience. Sure! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The nightlife is pretty good and diverse in the city center. You can go dancing or spending your time in a nice cafe with life music... The jazz scene is quite extense and the cultural opportunities are diverse and often very interesting. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language of instruction: French
Was learning French a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my French How much did you improve your French?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
Learning french was one of the most important aspects in my choice of coming in Brussels. I can say that I'm really satisfied about that. My level when I arrived was not specially good and now I'm capable of talking about anything. I'm really happy with my evolution.
