Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? costs
Personal comments:
The room is very small but has most of the facilities one needs. However, washing machines as welll as dryers are very hard to reach. (about a ten minute walk to a place outside the campus area) The bathrooms were cleaned every day on weekdays i.e. there was no toilet paper left Staurday afternoon!

Overall
Language of instruction: Italian
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning Italian a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Was learning French a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my French
How much did you improve your French?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
The attendance to the courses is compulsory, therefore the erasmus students can improve very soon their listening skills, moreover all the erasmus students have to attend a language course of french according to their entry level. The small size of the classes helps the Erasmus students to interact with the local students.

FINAL COMMENTS

Thanks to the geographic position and to the good transport connexions you could reach easily Paris and Lyon. My advice is also to discover the historic or naturalistic places in the region of Burgundy.
