Description:
While you are studying at the UBO (University of Western Brittany), you will remain a student of your originating university. This means that you must have enrolled in your university before leaving to come to the UBO. There must be careful preparation for your instruction and your stay at our university:- You must, in agreement with the member of the academic staff responsible for your instruction, draw up a detailed programme in writing of the studies you are going to undertake at UBO. You must ensure that the course or programme of instruction that you are going to follow at UBO is recognised and has the academic approval of your originating university. It is the originating university that will, on the basis of the results you obtain, issue your final qualification.

if you want to get something done as far as your studies are concerned, this is a good place to go. if you're highly motivated try to pass the CSCT, especially if you might want to work in france later on. if you're looking for a place to party you might be better off somewhere else. FINAL COMMENTS

you have to accept the different teaching methods in france, but you get used to them quite easily. more school-like! FINAL COMMENTS
The UBO is quite a nice university to study at. If you want to come to Brest you should not be addicted to sun because you won't see much of it! Brest itself is not a nice city (apart from the Port de Plaisance), but if you take the chance to see much of the surroundings you will enjoy it! And it's very useful to come here by car!!! Be aware of the SUCRI, sometimes the people there bite! You'll be really pleased with ULISSE; it's an association to help ERASMUS, there are great FINAL COMMENTS

There's no space for Erasmus students in my area of study (geology). You're not considerated by the most of teachers. You can come studying here just if you're already at a very high level.
