Founded in 1537, the Lausanne Academy gained its status as a university en 1890. It is today one of the principal institutions of higher education in Switzerland. It comprises seven faculties: Theology, Law, Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (SSP), Economics and Business Administration (HEC), Science and Medicine.

Captain Cook and les Brasseurs are really cool places. I also like the Jagger's Club. The X-change association has great events.

I really had a very basic knowledge of the French language (it was truly hard to speak even with my flatmates) but after a while I could improve it and now I just want to perfection it.
