HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I find it nice to share an apartment. We were 4 persons.
There are always people to talk to and moreover it gives you cultural insight which is hard to get if you live on your own.
Personal comments:
Well, I chose where I wanted to complain and I was neither dissapointed nor surprised. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
I believe that a lot of foreign students, me included, who were not a part of an exchange program were offended by the fact that no free launguage course was offered by the university. Moreover it would believe it to nice from the host university to give a tour on the faculty and explain basic things like how the print/copy system works, the librery etc.. Barcelona is a big city with a lot offers. It wouldn't like to miss out on a good opportunity whether it is a museum, a journey, a bar etc.... Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Cost saving tip: Be a part of an exchange program. It will at least save about 1000€, moreover you will probably recieve additional fundings as well. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
More about the different universities in the city. In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Go there and be wise. But remember to become wise you need to STUDY and this on your own and not at the university. In other word the university is a good framework, but the materia you need to learn by yourself. FINAL COMMENTS
Do it, what ever it takes. If it doesn't break you, It'll make you stronger. ;) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
