Universitat de València (UV)
Universidad de València, Antiga Senda Senent, 11, 46071 València, Spain, Valencia
Description:
Coming to its 5th centenary soon, the old "Estudi General de València" initially dedicated to the study of medicine, humanities, theology, and law has become a modern European university today. Given the wide range of studies offered as well as its human dimension, the University of Valencia is one of the largest, oldest, and most varied Spanish universities.

HOUSING
by Joan, University of Georgia, Athens, United States

Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? Because living so close to other English speaking students made it hard to immerse yourself in with the Spanish speakers. Also I imagine that living with a family could have exposed me to more authentic (and healthy) spanish food.

Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Warhol is a big student spot on Blasco Ibanez. Jam was pretty good too, and most of the bars in the old town "Barrio del Carmen" are excellent. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I learned so much! It was the most important choice in my life..if i'd never do that, i don't think i was going to be the interesting person I am. Everyone in Valencia helped me to speak better and better; don't be shy! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
