Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? You have the opportunity to live with people of the same age as you. You also have more freedom.
Personal comments:
The University is located outside of Palma and so it would have been difficult to have a good social life.

Personal comments:
One of my favourite bars in Palma is called "Hidro" which is located on the sea front. The "llonja" are is also a good place to go out as the majority are locals.

Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.

We mostly talked in Spanish during classes, some classes where in English. But people in Mallorca speak in Mallorquin-Catalan, so you get to learn something.

FINAL COMMENTS

Mallorca is great! Great weather, great outdoors, great hiking possibilities. Nightlife is good, it's not expensive to live. The number of tourists may drive you crazy sometimes but you can easily avoid them. Great place to study tourism!
