HOUSING
by Godheart, Buea University, Buea, Cameroon
Management Science, University Agreement
Personal assessment
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? Got much advice and guidance from this family. Helped acquaint myself faster to my new environment.
Personal comments:
Housing is very well organised at this University. It is amazing that the foreigners are given priority in the University housing department. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ACADEMIC

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
I studied Communication Studies. My subject seems to be in one of the only faculties which don't teach in English. Consequently, there are no lectures to attend or exams to take. It's all private study so you don't get much guidance from the professers. You need to be very motivated otherwise you'll be like me and leave all the essays to the last minute!
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
The course would really improve if it was taught in English so Erasmus students could attend lectures and integrate more with the faculty. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Be sure you need and you want to do it for student/personal reasons, both In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
In general Flamish people are not going to mix with Erasmus students except for interest to travel to your city for free. It is the experience of all my colleagues. FINAL COMMENTS
Belgium is a wonderful country. Flanders is one of the most beautiful regions to work, but there are others to study. If you want to improve your english knowledge, choose England or Ireland. For fun, choose Belgium. For studies, stay at home. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
