Personal assessment
Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why? It was a great experience living with native people.
Personal comments:
Personally I was really lucky about acomodation getting a nice place to stay, near university and relative cheap as well. The negative thing was that I didn't apply for accomodation before leaving, and once there I had to wait for a month until get any accomodation. Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Travel: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Make sure to travel a lot, as much as possible! Visit Tivoli for dancing and like most international students, you'll spend a lot of time at Mick O'Connells. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Course recommendations:
I wish that there would have been more to choose from in my particular field (international relations). However, the international law courses were quite good.

I was forced to speak otherwise other people couldn't get the meaning of my thoughts!! As I knew many foreign people I've tried to "exploit" them, I tried to be a sponge, to learn all the words they used. I could speak French, Spanish and English with native speakers, it was great, laso for my prononciation!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
Utrecht University is a great University with dedicated and open minded teachers. FINAL COMMENTS
If you don't mind the rain, the Netherlands has a lot to offer for studies. Utrecht is a miniature version of Amsterdam and is a great place to go for studying. Amsterdam is only half an hour away if you are in need of bigger cultural events. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
