HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? This way you get to meet many international students.
Personal comments:
We gave our budget but they couldn't find anything within it so either I had to tak what they offered me or find something on my own. Not knowing the city I decided to go with their offer. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities, Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Rembrandtplein was a square full with bars and night clubs, really nice atmosphere. The museums are free with a year pass in the whole country. Jordan neighboordhood full with original stores. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Not really, I could handle the new environment pretty well... In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
The campus of the UvA are spread through out the city, be prepared to bike! FINAL COMMENTS
Holland is a small country: you can discover many cities on one day trips. Night life in Amsterdam is great and there are lots of museums, markets, etc. You can also travel in Europe since they are centrally located. Be prepared to go everywhere by bike: rain, snow...doesn't matter! It's really fun :) But most of all, be open minded to learn new things about other cultures and languages.
