HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? I had the greatest time of my life there! I meet amazing people and had a lot of fun and made great friends. That all wouldn't have happened if i had been off-campus!
Personal comments:
as i said, it was a great experience. The food could have been a bit more varieted, but that's a bput the only critique i could make. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Nightlife: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Personal comments:
There was so much to do on-campus, that i didn't have much time left over to explore oslo's places. I remember ther were some good salsa-places, one good oriental bar and an operabar, very special! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Norwegian
Was learning Norwegian a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Norwegian How much did you improve your Norwegian?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
I took an intensive course, and we had to work for it! But i almost learned more norwegian in six weeks than for example portuguese in six months or hindi in four years, and that wasn't because of me, but because of the teacher and the way of teaching! I spent less on food etc because everything was paid for with the scholarship, but in general life is much more expensive than anywhere else, so i did end up spending quite a lot of money Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home. Food, Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
no In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Very good organisation, good classes, motivated teachers, great atmoshpere on campus FINAL COMMENTS
of course i have no idea how this university is during a normal schoolyear, i only took a summer course, but i meet incredible people over there, from 98 different countries; I made some really really good friends for life. It was almost too good to be true inmany ways. I had the time of my life, and i think about it very very often. This was my third study experience abroad, and although the shortest one, it was definitely the best one! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
