University of Bath
University of Bath, Claverton Down, BA2 7AY Bath, United Kingdom
3.89 / 5 based on 114 reviews.
Description:
Bath is one of the smaller universities in Britain, supporting a hard-working, hard-playing community. There is a predominant sense of participation across campus - social functions are usually sell-out affairs; music, drama and the arts are all flourishing; and there is a justifiably proud record of achievement in sport.

HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: university accomodation complex
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: university accomodation complex
Why? You get to meet a lot of other exchange students, who are in the same situation as you are in.
Personal comments:
The accomodation is very nice, clean but expensive. But that is the UK! I also had to pay extra for internet connection, washing mashine. And the heating wasn't always on. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I would have like to know how they taught the course. Most of the teachers do not usea corebook for their course, as they do in the Netherlands, but use articles instead. It is up to the student to get deeper in the subject by choosing its own materials (articles, books etc) In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Bath is a great city, but the university is very bureaucratic. But that doesn't stop you from going to Bath!!! FINAL COMMENTS
