HOUSING

Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? most 2nd and 3rd year students chose private housing in Selly Oak, which gives it a very studenty atmosphere, plus lots of house parties!
Personal comments:
Accomodation in Halls is alright during your first year, because you meet lots of people. If you need to study, on the other hand, Halls are much too noisy. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Nightlife: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
I think Bhirmingham is not the best place to have fun, but you can still enjoy places as CIRCO. Indeed, it's quite difficult to find quite places in order to chill out peacefully. Generally there are huge bars with beer and speakers vomitting decibels, beuh...all along Broad street, the artificial district! During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
The university has serious issues. Housing is expensive. The way to assess students is not satisfying, you only have exams at the end of the year. The teachers are not allowed to give enough help because of general practices from the country. FINAL COMMENTS
A good university, but with some problems. The city lacks a bit of excitement and This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
