Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It's nice to live in an International Student Complex to get to know a lot of people from different cultural backgrounds.
Personal comments:
The campus is old and people share their room with others. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Personal comments:
Durant mon séjour à Gainesville, j'ai pu profiter de leurs cafés pour faire quelques lectures, sentiers pour marcher et nombreuse piscine pour se rafraîchir ! Ce qui est à ne pas manquer surtout à University of Florida ce sont surout les évènements sportifs. Il faut absolument assiter à une partie des Gators de football ou de basketball. L'ambiance en vaut la peine ! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Courses at graduate level at the college of engineering are pretty good. Professors are well prepared and interact a lot with students. However sometimes lectures are a bit too slow.
My opinion of the university assessment

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
I thought my Englsih was perfect, but I got a lot of comments on especially my writing skills. Also the strange accents and the really fast way of talking were a new experience in the beginning. But overall, I didn't experience many problems This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
