Food is really expensive if you want to eat "healthy". I travel more than in my country. Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was the same price as at home.

Come for the first semester if possible because the Gators footbal team is great ! Go Gators ! FINAL COMMENTS
You can come from Orlando : 2hrs by car, Tampa 2hrs by car. I don't recommend to come from Miami because the Greyhound buses are quite slow and it's 5 hours far. You can land directly in Gainesville without problem. Prepare or a first night at the hotel if you don't know anybody there because air companies may be very late on their schedule, like 8hrs for me...
