HOUSING
by luca, Università Degli Studi Della Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy
Business Studies, University Agreement
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? because i have more freedom in my own house rather than in the campus
Personal comments:
it's well organized but the quality of the houses is a little bit cheap This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
by luca, Università Degli Studi Della Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy
Business Studies, University Agreement
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities, Travel: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
the best night is the wednesday night at the student union, then if you want to have some fun you should better move to cardiff that is only 20 minutes by train. other really good parties are the longest days which take place at the end of the year. My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Most computer related courses are pretty good.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
A better LRC (Learning Resource Center) would nice. However, Internet access is granted 24/24, which helps when resources are not availble at the LRC This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
I am leaving with other flatmates from Wales and other countries so I practice English everyday. Moreover, I have been working in a restaurant since the end of September as a waitress. So I have frequent contact with customers. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I don't think so. Apart from negative aspects of the uni and the country, I am happy with the experience of being an Erasmus student! In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I mean, what matters is going abroad! If I have to choose between going to a "so-so" university or staying at home, I'll go to the uni! The uni is secondary, what matters is that you make the most of your time here! But... if you have the chance... go to another uni (at least for Humanities!) FINAL COMMENTS
You MUST travel around a lot. Once you are here, Ireland, Scotland and England are just some hours away... Do visit Ireland and Scotland... and London! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
