Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I had the opportunity to share the appartment with 6 native English speakers, while most students who rented an accomodation on campus were living with other Erasmus students. I believe that my choice was the best way to improve my language skills and to be close with natives.

Personal comments
The university was very helpful to provide informations regarding student accomodations, even private ones. According to my own experience, I would recommend candidates to hire a private accomodation, that mostly proved cheaper.

Personal social experience
Personal comments
A lot of night activities happened on campus. Within the city, you can find a lot of typical English pubs (unfortunately closed after 11.pm !) and some discos such as the Spider, the Tower, the Room.

Final comments
At the University of Hull, I really found a friendly and attractive campus, with excellent facilities such as libraries, a computer centre and a language Institute (there, I had the opportunity to improved my Spanish)
Add to it extensive sport facilities, an amazing number of 75 clubs and societies, and I am sure you will certainly find your happiness there!
It was a real cosmopolitan experience : 10% of the students are coming from more than 100 countries.

Personal comments
I had a prety good command of English before my stay in UK, but I really improved my level of vocabulary and my abilities to write in English. After a few weeks, I managed to speak quite fluentely, and I even dreamt in English!
