University of Kent at Canterbury (UKC)
University of Kent at Canterbury, The Registry, CT2 7NZ Canterbury, United Kingdom
Description:
The University of Kent was granted its Royal Charter in 1965 and the first students arrived in the October of that year. The single-site campus covers 300 acres and is just over a mile from Canterbury's city centre. In 1997 the University opened a new centre, the Bridge Wardens' College, in Chatham's Historic Dockyard. This is an addition to the University Centre at Tonbridge, which caters for continuing education and part-time students.

No. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.

Personal recommendation:
It is a good place to study. Facilities are good and, at least in my area, the academic level is very good. It is a very international university too, with more than 50% of the students coming from abroad, mostly from other European countries. FINAL COMMENTS
Canterbury is a fine but small city. For those demanding the "big life" of a big city it may become too small. On the other hand London is only 1 hour 45' away. Going to the Continent, mainly France, Belgium and The Netherlands, is very easy and not too expensive: Paris and Brussels are around 3 hours away. Not entirely unimportant, the weather here is much better than in other regions of GB. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

if you're musical, The university of Kent is perfect for you. The choir, conducted by Sue is great fun - I still miss it a lot!... If you're catholic or Christian or just looking for a lovely group of people or for brilliant week-end trips, step into St.John Stone House where the Chtholic Society meets. Mass on Sunday is followed by a Pot Luck Lunch in St. John Stone House; a unique opportunity to have a relaxed Sunday luchtime and afternoon. London is very near, you should use that. I went to Cornwall and Scotland from there and had great fun! Try to get a private insurance that insures you in a foreign country. The NHS treatment at the medical centre is a joke. Better go somewhere private. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
You have to get involved in societies if you want to meet people, because there are so many students you could stay on your own if you don't go meet people. FINAL COMMENTS
Advice: keep in touch with your family and friends from your home country without going back there too much, to be able to fully live the experience. Watch out sterotypes and make too many sweeping statements. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Adequate research was done before I went to this University, so I am satisfied and do not have further comments regarding this question. In my opinion:

It is very difficult to get into MBA or any other Master degree provided by Kent Business School. But it is worthwhile to try apply. If you are lucky enough to get into these courses under Kent Business School, you will not regret, because it has some of the best teachers in the UK teaching here at Kent Business School. I am not boasting about this, see if for yourself by visiting the Kent Business School website's staff list. FINAL COMMENTS
If you are to come to Kent Business School to study Master, be prepared to study really hard. Do not procrastinate. There is not much time to go on holiday. Be organised and self-disciplined. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I wish I knew how easy it is to interact with teachers in the university and ask for guidance and at the end for reference letters :) In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
It is a good, international university. Nevertheless, it is up to the individual to make the best out of it both academically and socially. For example, I strongly believe that the role of the university is not as important as the student's performance. I would prefer a Kent graduate with a first class degree rather than a LSE graduate with a third class degree. Simply because the firs one is disciplined and hard working and could do their best in any institution FINAL COMMENTS
