HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I would have liked to experience truly "living" as a British student.
Personal comments:
There was a wide choice of accomodation each offering different things. Some dormatories were more social than others, some had kitchens, some were catered, etc. They met a bunch of different needs. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The whole City Center! There are loads of clubs, pubs, nightspots that need not be missed that different people with different tastes can enjoy. Don't miss the indoor market and the Cornexhange! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Personal comments:
I didn't run into many language barriers within my host country aside from a few slang words. It was fun learning them, though! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Government assistance Other sources of funding:
Family Work opportunities:
It was not legal for me to work Personal spending habits:
British life is simply known to be a bit more expensive Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Housing: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
If you keep a bank account at home, and use the ATMs there, take out large amounts of money at once, as service charges are expensive. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
