Why? I would live in apartment just to have a different experience. Also for a better location.

Housing was really great for me. All the accomodations were not as pleasant though.

I enjoyed the nightlife in Leicester very much and encourage any student to experience all the different venues and environments of nightelife available; even just on campus.

I would recommend students to take advantage to one on one oppurtunities available with teachers and to make the most of small group tutorials.

More expensive to live in UK than in my hometown and while traveling.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home.

No suprises incured. No particular tips. Get a train pass if you intend to travel a lot.

Personal recommendation:
Students should be more informed about location of campus housing. University seemed unprepared for international students arrival and I felt very uncomfortable. Bad reception initially. Students should be prepared for this.
