HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Private is the way to go, its cheaper and University housing limits what u can get: cable tv, furnishing. That only works if you know the area to a certain minimum, if its your first time, stick with university housing
Personal comments:
Amazing experience, met an amazing diversity of people and the sense of communty is unique. Rooms were a bit small but then so is everything in the UK (and most of Europe) when you've lived in the US.
