Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.

Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? That is if I had to study because of the residence hall was so close to the school.
Personal comments:
It was very decent but the majority of the residents were freshmen so the changces of networking with people of your same age were limited

Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Nightlife: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment
Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Activities: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
Sally's, Blarneys and spin for night clubs/drinks were always good fun. Uptown was the hot spot with the independent, chino latinos and tonic. Dinkytown has good restaurants (Loring pasta bar).

Try to get into the MBA courses. They are excellent, demanding and provide good insight in the US business world.

It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course

Choose MBA courses, they are way better than undergrad courses (with the exception of the futures course with Rick Nelson)

It was easy to talk to teachers and you had to participate in class, as it was part of your grade. Furthermore I think my language knowledge improved a lot!

Accessible but required effort.
Almost impossible.
Second-hand household items
Computers / Internet
Administrative
Money from home
Main source of funding:
Personal savings
Other sources of funding:
Family
Government assistance
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits:
Food was more expensive than in my home town and supermarkets were hard to reach. I met many new people so I wnet out a lot (not more expensive than home). I also travelled a lot, prices were slightly lower than at home.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Don't wire transfer money to the US. There are hefty penalties for overdrafting a US bak account. Get a US credit card for cheap online offers (they usually require US ZIP codes). Take a meal plan, it is way cheaper.
