Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Sydney is a great, energetic city. I would probaly move further away from campus to one of the beach suburbs (Bondi is amazing)
Personal comments:
It was a traveling program, so housing was varied. I got what I expected and sometimes more.

Overall
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Personal comments:
Amazing resturants in Bondi. Thai food was amazing. Depending on your mood, go out in Darling Harbor and the Rocks for upscale nightlife, local bars, Bondi, for laid back evenings. Oxford Street is also a great deal of fun.

Since the language was English and I already speak it I had no trouble communicating, I did learn a lot of local slang terms unique to Australia that was very interesting.
