Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? All the sudent's life is organized in the campus, you just take 10 minutes to go to class.
Personal comments:
I live with 4 roommates coming from different countries, we have our own room, a common kitchen and a livingroom with all the accomodations (TV, DVD player, oven, washmachine, drymachine, airconditioning etc..)

In general in USA everything is more expensive than in Spain, but Oklahoma is one of the cheapest state in USA. The only thing cheap was the apartment(electricity, air aconditioned, central heating, telephone) arranged for the university.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home.
Housing: was the same price as at home.
Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Take care with the phone calls to your country. It is very expensive, buy pre-paid cards. The medical insurance is expensive, but it is necessary, don´t forget that

FINAL COMMENTS

If you want to travel , buy a car, they are cheap, even if for from one place to an other in your own city, you have to have one because everything is so spread out.
