STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
A few good places to go, but it also depends on what you like to do. The best place in Finland: the nature ! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ACADEMIC
My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
There are a lot of courses at low/middle level, but a lack of advanced ones. If you've already studied 3 or 4 years, you could have difficulties to find convenient courses. Otherwise, everything is ok.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
No. It's great because you can take the exam as much as you want and keep the best result ! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Finnish
Was learning Finnish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Finnish How much did you improve your Finnish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
Finnish is an hard language but its knowledge is absolutely necessary if you really want the courses to be useful, because they're almost all in finnish (that's quite normal). But for foreign students teachers are comprehensive and can prepare exams in others languages if you ask. Almost all the population can communicate in a foreign language. OVERALL

I wish I had known...
Not really, excepted that I didn't imagine it was so hard to be acquainted with finnsih students. In my opinion:
