Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I am an independent person who sometimes enjoy my privacy and the fact that I can work both at home and at my office.
Personal comments:
Pretty good accommodation options, however near campus they were pricy. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
The language experience was awsome. The lack of interaction with local students it's something that should be pointed out because of the high degree of competence among the students. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...

Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Very high quality instruction and a glimpse of the rich local academic culture. FINAL COMMENTS
Philadelphia is a great city. At times students at UPenn tend to stick to the campus facilities, but it is worth to get accustomed to the city and take advantage of its many attraction: Philadelphia Museum of Art with an amazing collection, 5th street, the Church on 22nd and Locust is a nice venue for concerts, West Philly is a charming neighbourhood going through a gentrification process right next to the campus, as well as Camden - the city across the bridge in NJ (not very prosperous but definitely interesting).
