HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? because if you live on campus you have the chance to know much more people and you also have more facilities (internet, for example)
Personal comments:
I lived with two girls from the U.S. and a british guy...my flatmates were really nice and the house was comfortable, but it was too far from the city center and university..anyway, some of my friends were living in the same area so I had no problems at all. STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Student and Night life in Southampton were great: the university had a cinema inside that was really cheap (if you had the university card, of course)and had a good movie program..the university also organized ball quite often and karaoke nights on thursday. Outside University, my friends and I usually went to clubs and pubs closed to the city center and there we had lots of fun too...Jester's, for example, or Ikon were our favourite. Wednesday afternoon was dedicated to sport and social activities..I was in the volley team and I played tennis quite often. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ACADEMIC
My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
I took 3 exams (Microeconomics, Priciples of finance and Organization and management)at the end of semester..it was quite hard at the beginning because of the language, but I found it excellent the organization of courses: lectures+teamwork..in Italy we have only lectures, that is less useful.
My opinion of the university assessment

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your English?
My level before: My level after: Personal comments:
It was hard at the beginning because I had never been to UK before; anyway, the professors spoke really well, without any slang, so I had no problems with lectures. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Yes, if I had known that Erasmus was such a great experience, I would have ask my University for 2 semesters instead of one. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
