Subscribe to "Merit", it is an job agency who provides students with part time jobs at university or in firms, you can choose which kind of job, your schedule, and you are paid around £ 4.22 an hour.
My rent was more expensive in Southampton than in Vienna. Travelling by train or by bus was also expensive. Food was very cheap in ASDA where I did my shopping every week.
