There is internet at the campus 24-7. You can probably withdraw money with the same card you use at home without extra costs (Cirrus/Maestro).

The currency has more value. I travel more in my home country because I know a lot of places I can go personally. Most of my calls are international calls an the call rate is higher here, though local calls is okay.
