Why? It's so much easier and there are many people to talk with.
Personal comments:
I applied for a room in one of the colleges, but I didn't get any, just because on the basis of my surname initial i was low in the ranking. This was VERY disappointing.

my favourite places in Sydney are: the Broadway Lounge (close to the UTS), Glebe with all its cafe, The Royal Botanic Gardens, The Rocks and Pancakes on the Rocks.
