I wish I had known that there was the opportunity to work as an intern for a Canadian company during summer break. I would have loved to do it.
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.

Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot

Personal recommendation:
take as many courses and participate in as many activities as you can since it gives you the chance to get to know the country, the people, and their culture.

FINAL COMMENTS

skiing on mount washington (less expensive than Whistler , but great fun anyway), trip to Torfino during summer time, spend weekends in Vancouver (it's a great place!!)
