HOUSING

Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It's really hard in the beginning and I would choose on campus accomodation for the first week. But campus life is just not the real life. It's really hard in the beginning, but whilst other college students were annoyed by there fellow roommates, I had the time of my life in my lovely little house.
Personal comments:
The housing department is very well organised. If you really cant find anything they will help you. I found my house after looking at 3 houses and could move into the house within 3 days. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE

Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The most clubs and bars are located in Northbridge. However, in my opinion, its not very good for going out. I prefer Subiaco where the crowd is a little bit older and the clubs and cafes have more style. Also popular are Leederville (Hippie Club on Tuesday) and Cottesloe (Sunday session in the Cot Hotel). Course recommendations:
all courses are very well organized at this university! High standard and quality
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
many (australian) students does not show respect for fellow students and lecturers - they have conversations without consideration for other troughout lectures:( Although lectures were VERY good - you sometimes got disturbed by fellow students This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Personal savings Other sources of funding:
joint study (university) Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
it's cheaper Food, Nightlife, Housing: was the same price as at home. Travel, Overall, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
no; depending on the time staying, it's good to open a bank account if you stay longer than half year; otherwise it's better to use a cash dispenser as less as possible with as much money as possible per drawings. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

when planning your travels, keep an eye on the season/weather. going up north is better during winter, while south is better in summer, etc. lonely planet gives good recommendations. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
