One of the best experiences of my life. The University were really good to us. I met lots of wonderful people from all over the world and did many activities that I would never have had the chance to do at home. Academically, things will improove for the Erasmus programme as Charles University has some of the best lectures and students in the world. Staff were very helpful. Czech students are generally quite reserved and shy and it can be quite hard to make friends. Being a foreign student put you in a very positive financial situation and you have to be sensitive to locals and students, compared to their financial situation.

Don't expect a very rigorous course of study, as the English-speaking department is rather new and not the focus of the university. Take classes that you might not take -- art history, theatre -- to experience Czech culture.

You have to study hard at universities in Czech Republic, czech people do it hardly; and maybe to learn czech.

I loved it. Except for the Art class. but it was a nice university with nice facilities in an easily accessible location.
