Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I lived in a student corridor with a lot of Swedes, which was a great way to get to know locals
Personal comments:
The apartment buidling was in a quite boring area but since everyone was here it didn't mind. All the things you needed were present.

Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Personal comments:
The best night spots for students are the nations. They are cheap and only students go there, so it's a lot of fun. There is a sald bar in the Galleria that you have to try out. I ate there almost every day!!!

How much did you improve your Swedish?
My level before: Did not speak it
My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
Personal comments:
As far as I already spoke english and german, it was quite easy to learn swedish, and especially because the hos university provided free swedish lessons. Thus it enabled me to work in pubs and to improve my swedish even more.
