Course recommendations:
I was an exchange student, hence I took up the IMCS programme, which can be regard as a programme specially formulated for the exchange students in the Communication sphere and I think it was an excellent idea as the language of instruction is in English and not Swedish.

THe level of many courses was too much afjusted to foreigners, i.e. too easy. Nevertheless they were quite interesting.

Course recommendations:
Comming from an education system where you complete 5 full courses at once, for one semester at a time, the Swedish system was strange because it is only once course at a time, 4 times during one semester. This gave me alot of free time, and maybe not enough class time as needed.

The point is that business courses in English are OK but if you want you can choose courses from other universities and also business courses in swedish.

Really different method compared to my home university. I do believe Swedish Way of Study is much more involving and real ACTIVE (seminars, presentations and so on).

Absolutely Excellent, the best study experience I ever had. Swedish professors are really opened and enthusiastic, they give the best of themselves. Students rights are amazing in Sweden!

Course recommendations:
There are courses in English for foreign students but there you won't meet any local students. If you speak Swedish and are willing to study hard, it's probably a good idea to take regular courses. The courses in English that I took are pretty easy and, depending on you academic background, you won't learn too much.

Due to the different backgrounds of the foreign students it's probably hard to design an ideal course for them. There is the option of taking regular courses in Swedish, but it seems to be very hard work so it could easily keep you from experiencing the social life in Uppsala.
