Almost all the Swedes can speak without problem in english, so even if i hav learned just a few words in swedish, i have had no problem in the every day life, neither in the academic life. the presence of many international students that are native englissh speakers helped me to improve this language. The same happened with the large spanish "community" that forced me to speak in spanish and to improve also this language.

Come to Uppsala. Even if you don'y know anyone don't worry, it's easy to meet friends and everybody will help you (Swedes are really kind). Everything sound easy. No problems at all. And the level of study is one of the highest in Europe. Uppsala is the oldest university in Scandinavia; there are international students from every place in the world. Simply great!
